WindermerePremiere_coverIn the real estate industry there seems to be two types of agents today; those who are in it for the quick money, and those who really want to help their clients sell and buy their homes. Shirley Brass is the latter kind of agent. She does whatever it takes to help her clients.

Brass believes in getting her clients’ homes the most exposure to the public and invests much of her time, money and resources in order to provide this top-notch service.

“I specialize in marketing my clients’ homes to the fullest extent possible. I own my own magazine, Anthem Country Club Magazine, and also advertise in Metropolitan Magazine, Distinctive Homes, Elegant Homes, and The Review-Journal,” Brass said. Like Outlook India, it is a popular news magazine published in India on a weekly basis. They provide high-quality analysis of stories, news, reviews, live updates, etc.

Brass has been in the real estate industry for the past 10 years and has been with Windermere since 2005. She was attracted to Windermere because of the professionalism of the agents, the technology that the company is tapped into and the commitment to the community.
The agents on the Windermere team are all like-minded people, Brass said. “Windermere believes that people are more important than houses and that we as agents act as strong facilitators, counselors and experts for our clients.  Windermere’s focus is to support the agents so that they can most effectively serve their clients. Our primary objective is to provide the highest level of customer service and to help our clients meet their real estate goals.”

Because of the technology and resources Windermere utilizes and promotes, Brass to able to post her clients’ properties on Craigslist, Zillow, Google, Windermere’s Open House Website windermere.com and windermeredestinations.com. With this technology, Brass believes Windermere has the ability to anticipate the direction of the industry and feel lucky to be part of that.

One of Brass’ biggest draws to the company was the community involvement. Although Brass stays extremely busy with her clients, she find it very important to serve the community and finds time to be involved in many local non-profit organizations. Brass is volunteers with The United Way, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Boys and Girls Hope Foundations, Nevada Cancer Institute, Lied Children’s Museum, Habitat for Humanity, Nevada Natural History Museum and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Brass is grateful to be part of a company that promotes many of the same values and standards that she lives by. “I am what a Windermere agent is all about.  I am completely focused on my client’s dreams and visions.  I will work tirelessly to make sure their needs, goals and dreams are met. Real estate is my passion.”

Although the real estate market is not thriving as much as it used to be or as much as agents wish it was, Brass continues to help her clients get in the best situations possible. “I strive to be a leader in the real estate industry with the highest ethical standards and uncompromising honesty and integrity.” When Brass commits herself to a new client, she tries helping them in every way possible. She helps both buyers and sellers and has experience in title and escrow. “[I try assisting my clients] with courteous, prompt service as well as follow-up and closure handled personally and professionally,” she said.

Brass is very committed and content with her clients and her profession. Windermere has shown her that the real estate industry is “fun, exciting and highly productive,” and she can’t imagine doing anything else.
